With a large demand for CNC cutting, Director Dyllan Clarke approached Farley Laserlab in 2018 for an entry level plasma machine.
The ECO plasma proved to be an immensely productive asset to the company’s productivity, operating the plasma at full time capacity from day one.
In 2022 Farley did a promotion with the ECO Shape Fiber laser machine which Dyllan saw as a great addition to improving his profiling efficiency. The precision of laser would allow parts to be turned around more efficiently while reducing production costs. Parts that previously needed to be cleaned for precision no longer required this process and Dyllan could complete much larger work capacity in less time, allowing him to take on more volume.
Laser cutting demand grew exponentially within their first year, prompting the acquisition of a second laser with increased capacity at 6 kW.
Presently Riverland (the laser sector of WeldX Engineering ) are cutting 100 hrs per week averaging 50 tonnes of steel each month, now projecting for a third laser machine in collaboration again with Farley Laserlab.
